About The Position

The Program Project Coordinator is a key member of the Faculty Success Office team and is expected to be a partner in providing career-track-relevant faculty development programming, support, and resource planning that supports UNT Health’s mission. The Program Project Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director of Faculty Success and other university unit leaders, including Faculty Senate committees to assess faculty success needs and provide relevant programming. The Program Project Coordinator’s primary focus is supporting the Executive Director of Faculty Success programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
  • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
  • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Five or more years of related experience in planning, directing, assessing, and marketing faculty development and/or other support programs or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong project management, organizational, technical, and communication skills.

  • Master’s degree with three or more years of related experience in planning, directing, assessing, and marketing faculty development and/or other support programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and provides support in all aspects of the project/program including: planning, development, implementation, promotion/dissemination and logistical support of program/project activities.
  • Acts as point of contact for stakeholders related to program/project and maintains high visibility, on behalf of the department and/or University.
  • Develops and implements program/project processes to meet program objectives by ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations, providing accurate and timely reporting as well as comprehensive and integrated service delivery for participants through collaboration with relevant stakeholders and evaluating outcomes.
  • Collaborate and provide administrative support to senate committees.
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director of Faculty Success including organizing, scheduling meetings and appointments, preparing correspondence, and coordinating travel arrangements and related logistics.
  • Create, edit, and administer faculty awards, and leadership application calls in Qualtrics. Collaborate with Faculty Achievement Awards Committee leads to ensure annual award calls and rubrics are updated and correct.
  • Update and maintain current award documents, including review committee lists and applicant award status documents.
  • Lead award notification processes and approvals, including assisting with reviewing award letters.
  • Implement Faculty Achievement Awards event planning and programming.
  • Maintain Faculty Success summative surveys through Qualtrics; assess and report data for annual planning.
  • Conduct, analyze, and report on biennial faculty needs assessment results.
  • Participate in other Faculty Success work tasks as assigned.
  • Handles supervision of program operations, reporting, website and newsletter maintenance and the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Data collection and reporting consistent with applicable program/university requirements.
  • Financial planning and budget allocation, program development support, fiscal reporting responsibility.
