About The Position

We are seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst for our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry. This role involves preparing, developing, and coordinating the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. The analyst will ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Responsibilities include tracking plans and schedules, performing risk analysis, and identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts. The role utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances, facilitating focus and intervention on critical areas.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and experience developing/maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) and/or Special Compartmented Information Access (SCI) is frequently required.
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and project management principles.
• Candidates must hold an Active Secret US security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Level 4 experience a plus.
• Previous experience working for an aerospace and defense company.
• Experience with specialized tools, including Deltek Cobra and Deltek Acumen Risk.
• Expert-level MS Project skills and Excel Macro/VBA skills.
• Experience with Resource Loaded Schedules (RLS), Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
• Direct experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and familiarity with DCMA health metrics.
