Program Operations Specialist, Grants and Contracts Manager
About The Position
Harborview Medical Center’s Madison Clinic - Primary Care Program has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Operations Specialist, Grants and Contracts Manager. This role is responsible for creating processes and procedures for contract reporting to ensure compliance, reviewing and approving grant-related regulatory reports, and tracking reporting for various Primary Care contracts. The position involves representing Harborview’s Primary Care programs in meetings with key funders, developing policies and procedures for grant and contract adherence, and overseeing accounting and budgeting planning related to primary care grants/contracts. Additionally, the role will represent the Primary Care department in negotiating contracts and funding meetings, serve as a liaison to UW Medicine Accounting & Finance, develop or enhance Primary Care info systems and billing procedures, analyze grant opportunities to support program growth, and oversee the development of clinical technology initiatives and recommend changes to existing standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, finance, or accounting
- 4-5 years of full-time experience as a contract or accounting manager, preferably in a Behavioral Health program
- Demonstrated basic understanding of position skill requirements related to tasks, knowledge and abilities
- Fluency in Excel, budgeting, and grant/contract reporting

Responsibilities

- Represent the Primary Care department in negotiating contracts/funding meetings/liaison to UW Medicine Accounting & Finance
- Develop or enhance Primary Care info systems, billing procedures
- Analyze grant opportunities and support the growth opportunities for PC programs
- Oversee development of clinical technology initiatives
- Recommend changes to existing standards
