About The Position

This role involves meeting federal and state regulatory guidelines, monitoring operational functions, supporting team compliance, hiring and supervising personnel, coordinating meetings, maintaining communication, developing and analyzing program data, completing reports, conducting case reviews, monitoring regional needs, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct. The position also ensures physical plant and on-site resources are in place, monitors data for service delivery, oversees operations, training, payroll, benefits, and quality assurance, participates in continuous process development, and meets all deadlines required by supervisors and federal partners.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.
  • Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from an accredited program/university, preferably in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field of study.
  • Five (5) years of progressive project management on projects demonstrating advanced levels of growth and success in a human services field (with undergraduate degree).
  • Two (2) plus years in senior management, multi-tasking high priority projects, development, oversight, and management of multi-million-dollar program/projects (with graduate degree).
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
  • Monitor operational functions and problems are identified immediately and addressed when they are identified.
  • Support the team to maintain 90% or better compliance with contracting entities, internal and external audits.
  • Hire, train, supervise and evaluate program personnel in accordance with agency policies and procedures and federal and state standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate, support and participate in all staff meetings, and conference calls.
  • Maintain timely communication with agency leadership and direct/indirect reports.
  • Develop, coordinate, analyze and distribute program data to regional directors to ensure program compliance.
  • Complete timely and accurate reports to the federal entities.
  • Conduct periodic case reviews to ensure that assessments and recommendations meet agency and contract requirements.
  • Monitor regional needs and ensure identified unmet needs are addressed.
  • Complete all notification and reporting requirements within time frame requirements.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by the position supervisor.
  • Implement Compass Connections System safety protocols in case of an emergency.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in the Compass Connections System employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
  • Travel as requested.
  • Ensure physical plant and on-site resources are in place as necessary for service provision.
  • Monitor data to ensure appropriate service delivery.
  • Monitor operations, training, payroll, benefits, and quality assurance to ensure safety and implementation of best practices.
  • Participate in continuous process development and provide the team positive guidance in managing change within the post release program.
  • Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
