About The Position

This role involves working with Account Managers to develop strong customer relationships and overseeing project development planning to ensure timely completion. The Program Manager will support line trial initiatives, gather customer requirements, and ensure that internal control plans align with customer needs. This position is also responsible for ensuring 100% On-Time Delivery, supporting operations in problem-solving, and onboarding new projects into manufacturing. Additionally, the Program Manager will verify program profitability, develop cost studies for improvements, and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various customers and programs. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to document observations and facilitate cross-functional meetings.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in business administration, industrial engineering or related major or equivalent experience.
  • 5 or more years experience managing manufacturing plants.
  • Knowledge of industrial engineering, injection molding, decoration, and assembly operations.
  • Must be PC proficient.
  • Good communication and Interpersonal skills, and Team skills are a must.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication and coaching skills.
  • Has strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Skilled at the use of Microsoft productivity applications including Office 2010 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Account Managers to develop industry-leading relationships with our Customer Contacts and Commercial and Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Oversee Projects Development planning and CPS timing initiatives to ensure completion and schedules are understood and met.
  • Support line trial initiatives at our Customers operations to better understand their requirements and Program expectations. Gather all pertinent information and report back into operations for documentation and ensure that internal control plans represent the customer’s needs and expectations.
  • Ensure that the proper control plans, range boards, and customer expectations are fully documented.
  • Ensure 100% On-Time Delivery to our Customers.
  • Support Operations and Account Management in problem areas where Quality and Delivery issues exist.
  • Onboard Projects during implementation into manufacturing to support Operations, Account Management, and Program Management.
  • Verify profitability of current programs in production by comparing to BOMs or Quotations.
  • Develop cost studies and priority lists for improvements of current programs in production.
  • Develop SOP’s that can be applied across the various customers and programs that we currently supply.
  • Capture and document observations and facilitate meetings across multiple levels of personnel for planning and improvements.
