Program Mgr II
About The Position
We are hiring a Program Manager II to join our team and assume a lead role in the Artillery portfolio within combat Mission Systems. As the premier provider of combat vehicles, amphibious vehicles, and advanced weapon systems, you will work on projects that help troops complete their mission and return home safely. This role will include supporting the business planning and program management, leadership, oversight and coordination with Artillery platforms during execution and will support proposal efforts, work directly with production and sustainment contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience or equivalent experience
- Experience in Program/Project Management, leading complex P&L programs, program life cycle reviews, and financial reporting and analysis
- Experience in Lethality, Mobility, or SW/Vetronics Product Design/Development/Production, from a technical, operational, or management perspective
- Experience in People Management/Leadership, leading and integrating diverse, matrixed teams
- Experience in Program Risk and Opportunity Management, identifying and developing risk mitigation plans
- Experience in Competitive Proposal Development, translating customer requirements and organizational capabilities into customized solutions
- Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, monitoring, and integrating cross-functional resources to deliver on quality, schedule, and budget parameters
- Ability to adapt to a high-volume workload
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
