In Engine Systems, we focus on the “brains behind the brawn” and develop the world’s most advanced commercial and military aircraft engine controls. You’ll lead programs that improve aircraft performance, reduce emissions and optimize fuel consumption to realize our missions: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®” and “We Innovate For Those Who Move The World®”. Our flexible work environment provides you this opportunity to change the world without giving up your personal life. An Engine Systems Program Manager leads a diverse, cross-functional (and sometimes multi-national) team that designs, develops, verifies and manufactures the latest generation of digital engine controls utilized on a variety of commercial and military aircraft. The Engine Systems Program Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of a program including interfacing with the customer and other collaborators, coordination with internal oversight organizations and leadership of the project from financial, schedule, and technical development perspectives. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. The ideal candidate will bring effective organizational leadership skills, project management experience, proven performance to deliver on customer commitments, and the ability to shape and capture future development efforts. This is an opportunity to join a high performing team committed to delivering groundbreaking capabilities in the next generation of flight critical engine control systems.
