About The Position

FAST Labs™ is a world-class research and microelectronics production organization. Our vision, ‘we secure the future through fearless innovation’, fuels our curiosity and propels our teams to take on ‘never been done before’ challenges. In the advanced electronics domain of FAST Labs™, we further the mission by developing and delivering some of the most advanced microelectronics technology and products that enable our customers to differentiate their offerings across commercial and warfare/defense markets. These technologies and products are based on a multitude of microelectronics fabrication technologies in silicon, SiGe, GaN, GaAs, and experimental processes. The Microelectronics (µE) Product Line performs cutting-edge microelectronics research in its Science & Technology (S&T) area and delivers advanced microelectronic offerings in its Products & Services (P&S) area, that advance mission capabilities across commercial and warfare/defense applications. We are seeking a Program Manager who will support development and production execution for the growing list of microelectronics components within BAE Systems’ Microelectronics product catalog. The Program Manager’s primary responsibility will be leading production and development execution of P&S products through the entire lifecycle, from quoting through delivery. This includes demand forecasting, quoting, purchase orders, and deliveries of P&S products; interfacing with customers, across functions and the foundry team, and vendors to collaborate and provide status updates; and supporting the management of programs in different stages of maturity ranging from development to full production. The successful candidate must be comfortable leading briefings of program status to leadership and excel at customer engagement. Other key responsibilities include: Support all aspects of program initiation, planning, execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensure program commitments are met. Support the development of strategic and financial plans. Track, lead, and directly contribute to forecasting and demand planning. Lead the execution process by overseeing the creation and management of budgets and schedules. Identify and address order- and program-related issues, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions. Act as a point of contact for other program managers, operations personnel, and internal stakeholders regarding order-related matters and ensure the stakeholders are engaged in addressing any deficiencies. Support the tracking of resources, personnel, and processes to ensure the successful execution and completion of orders and programs. Monitor and report on key order and program performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, budget adherence, and overall performance, and prepare regular status reports. Ensure that products are fully prepared for production and delivery, coordinating with engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to verify that all requirements are met and address any identified deficiencies. Engage with the internal foundry team and vendors to ensure alignment on order or program requirements, including deliverables, cost structures, and timelines. Manage and support proposals, as required. Perform other duties as necessary. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it can take the form of a hybrid work format , with time split between working onsite (> 50% of time) and remotely; or an on-site format.
