About The Position

This position is for an experienced Program Manager at Fieldpiece, an HVACR tool manufacturer. The role involves leading cross-functional programs to bring innovative hardware, firmware, and software products from concept to commercialization. It's a high-visibility position requiring end-to-end program execution, ensuring projects meet aggressive timelines, quality standards, cost targets, and business objectives while managing risk, resources, and stakeholder alignment across engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, regulatory, finance, and external partners. The company is based in Orange, CA, with a planned move to a brand-new Tustin office in 2028. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of Program or Project Management experience in engineering / product environments
  • Proven success managing multi-project, cross-functional programs
  • Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software
  • Strong program governance and change management capability
  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA/Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project
  • Experience working with global suppliers or manufacturing partners

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, Prosci, or Lean Six Sigma a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program execution across the full product lifecycle
  • Lead cross-functional teams through complex HW/FW/SW integration
  • Translate strategy into clear priorities and executable plans
  • Serve as the primary connector between teams, leaders, and partners
  • Identify risks early and drive fast, root-cause-based solutions
  • Balance scope, schedule, cost, and resources to deliver results
