About The Position

The Program Manager is a mid-level management position under the direct supervision of the Program Director. The Program Manager establishes clinical systems and standards of care. The Program Manager works in coordination with the Program Director and Supervisors to organize and direct all services and program functionality. The Program Manager may also provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed staff and student interns.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Doctorate in Psychology.
  • Minimum of one year management experience or supervisory experience over clinicians, childcare, human services (preferably case management).
  • Minimum of one year of care coordination experience.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Ph.D. or PsyD.
  • Ability to supervise pre-licensed clinicians and student interns preferred.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Completion of CPR/First Aid certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping, data management, and computer applications, specifically EHR.
  • Good communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain organized and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic approaches for youth.
  • Ability to contribute to policy and procedure development in a matter that addresses clinical quality.

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective implementation of direct care practices that are in accordance with agency policies, clinical systems, and contracts.
  • Monitor clinical documentation and develop strategies to ensure productivity and timeliness standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with State/County agency representatives and community partners.
  • Facilitate and/or participate in all required meetings.
  • Utilize data and quality assurance measures to improve clinical procedures, identify needs, and highlight successes.
  • Ensure all clinical staff are up-to-date and compliant with required trainings and certifications.
  • Prepare staff evaluations and complete disciplinary measures, as needed.
  • Provide direct supervision and leadership development for program staff.
  • Supervise pre-licensed and student interns.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
