About The Position

We need an experienced Project Manager at the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). The USCG Civilian Human Resources Office is expanding contractor support for position classification and staffing as automation efforts drive increased workload across the organization's civilian personnel programs. In this role, you will serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR, manage the task order to ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented on time using benchmarking and program metrics, coordinate task schedules to keep deliverables aligned with the customer's objectives, and ensure compliance with the statement of work and financial obligations through ongoing reporting and analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of progressive project leadership and management experience in the field of human resources, OR; Associate's degree and five years of progressive project leadership and management experience in the field of human resources
  • Eligible to obtain a Common Access Card via the MP ICAM process and NBIS background investigation
  • Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Project Manager for the task order and acts as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative
  • Assists company management in working with the customer's representative, management personnel, and customer agency representatives
  • Provides operating advice and assistance on administrative and management issues to the customer
  • Manages the task order and ensures technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner using benchmarking and program metrics
  • Coordinates task schedules to ensure solutions developed or implemented are consistent with the customer's objectives and the statement of work
  • Ensures compliance with the terms and conditions outlined in the statement of work
  • Adheres to financial obligations agreed to at contract award through financial reporting and analysis
  • Available to the COR via telephone between 0800 and 1630 EST, Monday through Friday
  • Responds to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 3 hours of notification
  • Provides a monthly progress report to the COR no later than five business days after the previous month's end, including a breakdown of labor hours by labor category, direct costs by line item, an assessment of technical progress, schedule status, and any contractor concerns or recommendations
  • Meets with the COR upon request to present deliverables, discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical problems and issues
