About The Position

The Program Manager (PM) is a supportive member of the Team at RSFR to engage the community to support and provide programing within the shelter. The PM oversees the running of after school programing and summer camp programming within the emergency housing as well as plans, coordinates, and supervises special youth trips and activities, and supports the Haven of Hope Learning Zone. The PM works with community partners to secure donations and funding and coordinates all volunteer and special events.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Social Work (BSW).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must complete PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
• Must complete a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training prior to employment.
• Must understand and support for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Nice To Haves

• Training in trauma-informed care (Sanctuary Model Training) preferred.
