About The Position

The Program Manager will serve as the operational lead for the BRAIN Initiative, a national, multi-year effort led by the Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborative ( GEDC ) in partnership with West Health and the Alzheimer’s Association. This initiative aims to identify, refine, and disseminate best practices for dementia-capable acute and inpatient care. The Project Manager will coordinate all aspects of project execution, budgeting, governance, stakeholder engagement, toolkit development, dissemination, and reporting. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, comfort with complex stakeholder environments, and the ability to translate broad strategic goals into detailed work plans, timelines, and deliverables. The Project Manager will work closely with project leadership (Drs. Kevin Biese and Christina Shenvi), external consultants, clinical partners, and health system sites nationwide.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management in healthcare, academic, or nonprofit settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and concurrent workstreams.
  • Excellent communication, meeting facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort working with clinical experts, health system partners, and external consultants.
