About The Position

As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects from start to finish, planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating with cross-functional partners. The role is within the AI and Infrastructure team, which delivers AI and infrastructure capabilities at scale for Google customers, Googlers, and Google users worldwide. You will manage data center construction programs from concept development and design through execution and deployment. You will translate technical and operational requirements into infrastructure solutions for data center facility operations, coordinate with engineering, construction managers, contractors, and external vendors, and oversee governance, schedules, risks, and executive reporting. You will address construction and facility challenges with scalable solutions that protect timelines, safety, and budgets.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program or project management.
5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission-critical facilities.
5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.

Nice To Haves

10 years of experience with mission-critical equipment or environments.
Experience managing vendor relationships and a strong understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
Knowledge of fast-track design-build processes.
Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple data center construction programs from concept development and design through execution and deployment.
Gather technical and operational requirements and translate them into executable infrastructure solutions for data center facility operations.
Partner with engineering, construction managers, contractors, and external vendors to maintain project momentum and resolve site challenges.
Drive program governance, schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and executive reporting for leadership and delivery partners.
Evaluate complex construction and facility challenges and implement scalable solutions to protect delivery timelines, safety, and budget.
