About The Position

nou Systems, Inc. (nSI) is a 100% ESOP company focused on supplying products, services, and expertise with data-driven insights to transform defense systems and improve capabilities. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to manage our Precision Pulse Positioning System (3PS) Program. This role involves direct management of the 3PS team, supporting the development of patented technology for the US Navy and DARPA. The work is primarily located in Marietta, GA, and Huntsville, AL, with potential deployments to field testing at military test ranges. The Program Manager will lead complex RF system development programs throughout their entire lifecycle, from proposal and concept development to engineering, manufacturing, testing, and customer demonstration. This position requires a strong technical background in RF systems engineering coupled with proven program leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, align technical execution with business goals, and ensure successful delivery according to customer requirements. The role is responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical execution of programs, collaborating closely with the Senior Technical Fellow. The Program Manager will provide technical insights into RF system architectures, including receivers, transmitters, frequency generation, and signal chain design, while facilitating effective team execution. Key responsibilities include driving program reviews, ensuring test readiness, enhancing operational performance, and promoting innovation through R&D and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience in RF, microwave, or systems engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management for complex technical programs
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance on DoD or similarly complex programs
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance is required

  • Experience with EW, radar, SATCOM, or high-frequency RF systems
  • Background in RF components such as amplifiers, filters, synthesizers, or converters
  • Experience with frequency synthesis, low-noise design, or high-frequency system architectures
  • Prior leadership of engineering organizations
  • Experience supporting business development, proposals, and customer-facing technical discussions
  • Active security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of complex RF system development programs across the full product lifecycle, from proposal and concept development through engineering, manufacturing, testing, and demonstration to customers.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and technical execution of the programs.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Technical Fellow to achieve program objectives.
  • Provide technical insight into RF system architectures—including receivers, transmitters, frequency generation, and signal chain design—while enabling teams to execute effectively.
  • Drive program reviews, ensure test readiness, improve operational performance, and foster innovation through R&D and continuous improvement initiatives.
