PROGRAM MANAGER
About The Position
Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a dedicated Program Manager to lead residential services, supervise staff, and support individuals living with mental health and behavioral health challenges. This role is for a compassionate leader passionate about recovery-oriented services, staff development, and creating positive outcomes for the individuals supported. The CoSTAR Program is a multi-faceted residential and family supportive services program serving individuals with mental health and behavioral health challenges, focusing on life skills, social skills, and community integration.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's Degree and/or three (3) years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory or leadership experience within behavioral health, residential, or human services settings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively supervise, mentor, and develop staff
- Experience with documentation, reporting, and electronic records systems
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented and person-centered service models
- Residential program management experience
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals and other staff members
- Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure quality service delivery
- Ensure homes are safe, appropriately maintained, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain appropriate staffing coverage for residential programs
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to program emergencies as needed
- Oversee medication management, audits, and documentation requirements
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing regulations, and program standards
- Coordinate treatment team meetings and recovery-oriented services
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals related to recovery, independence, and community inclusion
- Attend medical, psychiatric, and treatment planning meetings as needed
- Monitor documentation, electronic health records, and program reports for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct staff supervision meetings, staff trainings, and team meetings
- Promote a culture of person-centered care and recovery
