The Phoenix's mission is to build a sober active community that fuels resilience and harnesses the transformational power of connection so that together we rise, recover, and live. Through activities such as CrossFit, book clubs, rock climbing, art socials, yoga, and meditation, participants build confidence, self-respect, and community. The Phoenix offers free programs, both in person and online, for anyone with 48 hours of sobriety. Since 2006, we have served hundreds of thousands of individuals with the help of thousands of volunteers across the country. At The Phoenix, we welcome people from all backgrounds and strive to create a healing-centered environment that allows everyone to bring their authentic selves to the workplace. We seek to create a workplace environment that accurately reflects the diverse communities we serve. We understand that voices of varied experiences and perspectives are central to our mission and our impact. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender expression, pregnancy, genetic information, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. The Phoenix will gladly provide reasonable accommodations during the interview process if needed. Please ask! This role will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada and will support the organization by leading the recruiting, onboarding, and development of all new volunteers, equipping them to take meaningful ownership of the Community Center and allowing us to continue to scale our local impact. If you’re excited about working in a dynamic and creative environment that promotes personal and professional growth, we want to talk to you!
