About The Position

Devereux is seeking a Program Manager to oversee their group home in Eatontown, NJ. This role involves planning and implementing developmental plans for individuals, ensuring facility maintenance, managing staff (hiring, performance, attendance, payroll, training), ensuring shift coverage, supervising program planning and documentation, planning group outings, managing household shopping, and scheduling/transporting individuals to appointments and programs. The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Have a valid non-provisional driver's license.
  • Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
  • Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
  • Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and implements the occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.
  • Ensures the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained in a way to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
  • Responsible for all the staff within their assigned program(s) inclusive of the hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy and training compliance of each team member.
  • Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
  • Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
  • Plan and participate in group outings for our individuals.
  • Manage the shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.
  • Schedule and transport our individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
