Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years of experience specifically related to the automotive manufacturing industry.
  • 2 years of automotive program management experience is required.
  • Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
  • Ability to conduct extended computer work and lead discussions with employees.
  • Visits to customer facilities and plants may require extended standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift, move and manipulate parts required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for automotive Programs for Grupo Antolin North America, and assurance of compliance with established targets related to Quality, Costs, Timing, Profitability and Regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the key manager interacting with the customer, bearing responsibility for the Program and managing the program in co-ordination with the Customer Account Manager.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of Grupo Antolin program engineering direction.
  • Plan and monitor all activities for the program.
  • Establish and plan the effective use of resources required in achieving targets.
  • Establish the necessary guidelines for Program Team operation.
  • Create the program budget and manage it to guarantee its accomplishment.
  • Automotive Overhead Systems Programs for Grupo Antolin North America, and assurance of compliance with established targets related to Quality, Costs, Timing, Profitability and Regulatory requirements.
  • Assures identification of current and future customer and internal program requirements throughout the organization with respect to: Program Timing, Quality, Content, Manufacturing requirements, Cost, Program contracts, Program resource allocation and Profitability.
  • Assures appropriate program planning to confirm that product development is consistent with established program objectives and company needs: Content, Consistent with program objectives, Cost, weight, tooling, and engineering design, Maintained within program targets, Quality, Program objectives met, Supplier Base, Establish base to meet program requirements, Program Readiness, Meet targeted timing and production scheduling.
  • Creates and manages the overall Program budget, as well as the Multi Annual Budget, at all cost center levels.
  • Facilitates executive-level interaction with Customer, Plant and Internal Management.
  • Establishes and plans the effective use of resources required for achieving targets.
  • Promotes coordination and communication of program team.
  • Participates with manufacturing engineering in group lead design control activities.
  • Initiates PO’s for required Design/Engineering work.
  • Coordinates, monitors and executes the closing of Project Phases according to I-P06.
  • Coordinates and maintains communications with the customer, departments and Plant Operations for all program activities.
  • Leads Cross Functional Program team in execution of Quality requirements and delivery process during development phases.
  • Establishes and communicates to team the corporate, division and program specific deliverable requirements with respect to timing quality and completeness, monitors and tracks progress, leads monthly program reviews with executive management, and leads all program phase and gate review activities.
