About The Position

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Program Manager with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Aberdeen, MD. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Koniag IT Systems is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager to lead IT support services for a Defense government client. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership for IT operations supporting approximately 3,300 users across multiple locations. This role requires exceptional leadership experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage complex IT programs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a directly related IT field with 11+ years of experience, OR Master's degree in a directly related IT field with 9+ years of experience.
10+ years of experience leading teams of 50 – 100+ employees for enterprise-scale IT programs of a complex nature and financial scope.
Demonstrated information technology/engineering and management experience on contracts or projects with organizational responsibilities of a similarly complex nature and financial scope.
Experience reviewing and approving the work of project managers, IT specialists/engineers, support staff and contract administrative personnel.
Experience working in DOW Computing Environments.
Security+ certification (or equivalent DOW Directive 8570.1 IAT II).
At least one certification in project management (PMP, CAPM, etc.).
TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and directing all aspects of IT support services across multiple Department of War (DOW) locations.
Lead and manage a team of 50 - 100+ IT professionals providing support to approximately 3,300 users across multiple locations.
Develop and implement strategic IT program plans that align with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
Manage program budgets, resources, schedules, and performance metrics to ensure successful delivery of services.
Coordinate with government stakeholders to identify requirements, establish priorities, and adjust workforce allocation as needed.
Oversee the delivery of IT services, ensuring compliance with DOW standards, policies, and security requirements.
Lead regular program reviews and status meetings with government counterparts.
Manage fluctuating workloads and priorities by effectively increasing, decreasing, or relocating resources as required.
Ensure proper documentation of all program activities, decisions, and deliverables.
Identify and mitigate program risks while developing and implementing risk management strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure compliance with all contract terms, conditions, and performance requirements.
