Requirements

Requires an MSW or master’s degree in a related human services field.
Requires four years of progressively administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR five years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field.
Requires ability to pass a background check.
Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties. Requires appropriate, valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Prefers 5 years of professional experience managing or conducting program monitoring for a public or private child welfare agency
Prefers 3 years of experience supervising professional staff engaged in the provision of child welfare services
Prefers 3 years of professional experience in the development and implementation of policies and procedures in a social service agency.
Prefers 3 years of professional experience in the development of strategies for the improvement of social service program services

Responsibilities

Serves as Program Manager
Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff
Provides input into all statewide monitoring activities
Consults with and advises community and regional advisory councils, committees, and private agencies on program needs, standards, and services.
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
