About The Position

The Program Manager provides supervision of daily program operations for the Eddy Shelter in Middletown, CT. This role involves supervising direct care staff, providing hands-on training, data entry in HMIS, and collaborating with community partners. The Eddy Shelter provides emergency shelter, housing case management, and rapid re-housing services to homeless adults and young adults, aiming to ensure their safety while facilitating the identification of long-term housing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, knowledge of CT Homeless and Housing Networks and service delivery models, and a commitment to Housing First Services. Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness is required, and experience in a shelter, residential, or congregate care setting is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years related experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience working in a position that supports individuals experiencing homelessness
• Regular and predictable attendance is required

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CT Homeless and Housing Networks and service delivery models
• Experience working in a shelter/residential/congregate care setting
