About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This position involves work that impacts the country’s critical role in protecting national security. KBR's work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT, and cybersecurity solutions. The role offers a collaborative environment and impactful work in designing and optimizing defense systems for national security and space defense. KBR seeks a Program Manager to support the CAPE Joint Data Support (JDS) Division. CAPE JDS is a multi-source funded and OSD CAPE managed organization responsible for identifying, collecting, developing, analyzing, managing, and disseminating historical, current, and future years U.S. and Non-U.S. forces inventory, capabilities, and deployment data (including planning, programming, and acquisition data) supporting collaborative study teams guided by the Analysis Working Group (AWG). JDS develops standardized data products and analytic tools to support Joint analytic efforts focused on Senior Leader decision support. Additionally, JDS supports AWG led SCI/SAP/SAR studies and analyses.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance to be considered for the position
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of relevant work experience in the DoW at OSD or Joint Staff level, project/program management, technology development or systems engineering
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan, track, and maintain due dates for multiple projects and products central to the organization’s business processes
  • Experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with personnel at all levels of the customer organization to deliver results; strong networking, interpersonal, and customer service skills are key
  • Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with persons working across a broad array of National Security and DoW organizations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the contractor’s single contract manager and authorized interface with the client on large or complex information technology programs
  • Perform program management and oversight to ensure successful program performance
