The Program Manager supports reliable financial-coaching service delivery for military members and families by coordinating commitments, surfacing risks, and closing operational gaps that could affect member access or sponsor confidence. This hands-on, coordinator-level individual contributor keeps project commitments organized and visible, maintains readiness visibility, follows through on commitments, prepares clear reporting, and escalates issues early enough for leaders to act. The title refers to program coordination, not authority over people, strategy, budgets, or the contract. Program and functional leaders retain those decisions; this role helps teams carry them out reliably. The role coordinates priorities, milestones, dependencies, handoffs, readiness evidence, reporting, issue follow-up, and agreed workflows across delivery teams and partners. It interfaces with the prime contractor for scheduled issue reviews and program updates. The Program Manager works within approved priorities and authority, routes specialized questions to appropriate decision-makers, and does not independently change scope, make staffing or launch decisions, or commit the organization to new terms or service promises. Success is measured by dependable completion of approved coordination deliverables, timely visibility of readiness gaps, accurate and decision-ready reporting, and clear ownership and follow-through for priority issues. The position is in the Financial Coaching department and reports to the VP of Financial Coaching.
