Program Manager - McNair
About The Position
The Program Manager provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of the McNair Scholars Program (MSP), funded by a 5-year grant by the U.S. Department of Education TRIO office. This federally funded TRIO program is designed to prepare low-income, first-generation college students and students from underrepresented backgrounds for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. The Program Manager will serve as supervisor of the project, conducting financial management, budget oversight and allocation, personnel recruitment and management, and oversee the fulfillment of program objectives including identifying first-generation, low-income students as well as students underrepresented in graduate education to participate in the program.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- Two years of grant management experience
- Experience supporting diverse populations of students
