The Youth Champions Program focuses on building relationships with youth, 6th grade-12th grade, and families to discover their interests and develop individualized success plans. The program aims to help students achieve academic success, graduate on time, make good decisions, explore career and post-secondary education opportunities, set future goals, build character, and engage in community service. It collaborates with other non-profit organizations to provide social and emotional development and prevention education as students transition between school levels. The program is part of a larger pipeline of afterschool services and includes Remote Case Management and developmentally appropriate programming. The Youth Manager maintains a caseload of 75 youth, tracking their progress through individualized success plans, and delivers programming where students gather for dinner and discussions relevant to their lives.
