The Program Manager is a global leader responsible for the overall success of their programs, with a focus on scope, cost, and schedule. They operate with urgency to drive resolutions for scope creep, cost risks, and schedule slips. PMs act as the glue holding teams together by managing communication across all groups to mitigate risks and ensure timely deliverables. They lead the organization through the SharkNinja product development process and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. This role is ideal for professionals with demonstrated mastery in a primary function (e.g., engineering, product, operations) who have expanded into cross-functional team leadership with a business and customer-first mindset.
Requirements
- Fast learner that can quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options into a strategy, plan, or response and effectively communicate it.
- Must have executive presentation skills, a collaborative approach, the ability to connect, and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Demonstrated cross-functional team leadership & misalignment resolution.
- Possess a strong bias to action and accountability.
- Proven track record of managing several high-visibility, technical, cross-functional projects simultaneously (Consumer Goods Industry preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain mastery.
- Advanced experience with MS Project (or similar), Excel, Jira and Visio.
- Program Management Professional or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Six Sigma certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own, drive, and actively facilitate the interaction of cross-functional stakeholders (product, engineering – all disciplines, quality, supply chain, factory operations, consumer insights, and marketing) for successful releases, including managing risks, schedule, quality, and cost according to our roadmap.
- Be accountable for delivering all elements of the program, including product performance KPIs, cost, and timeline, from product ideation to mass production and commercialization.
- Act as the General Manager for all New Product Development related activities for the assigned Product Line.
- Identify program risks, develop mitigation/contingency plans, and track progress, pivoting when necessary to keep programs on track.
- Spot resource and knowledge gaps and take necessary steps to highlight/remedy them.
- Utilize metrics, KPIs, and data to help drive decision-making across cross-functional teams.
- Channel global information to local teams and act as a conduit to support the business.
