About The Position

VTG is looking for a Program Manager in Chantilly VA. This role will require daily interaction with 4 primary stakeholders: VTG workforce, subcontractor companies, VTG executive leadership and the IC customer. This interaction will be fluid and cycle daily based on priority and risk mitigation. The Program Manager will provide strategic and tactical direction to employees and managers, focusing on workforce development, career and learning opportunities, and hiring strategy. They will ensure subcontractors can augment skills and experience, adhere to agreements, and communicate program direction. The role involves programmatic reporting to executive leadership, driving integration across the company, and aligning with VTG's strategy. Daily interaction with key customer team members, including the CO, COTR, and Directorate level leadership, is expected to ensure contractual obligations are met and execution supports the mission.

Requirements

TS/SCI with Poly required
15 years’ experience; with relevant experience on a program or organization at the same size/scope
Knowledge and experience with the IC customer
BS or MS degree
Work on customer site; side by side with the customer daily
Leadership of a team of managers, who in turn manage the workforce teams
Directing back-office teams: contracts, security, finance, staffing, HR
Effectively integrating with other TOs/company PMs
Direct engagement with subcontract workforce and leadership
Building future leaders and providing career development opportunities for the workforce
Unique and creative ways to engage the employee workforce

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and tactical direction to employees and managers.
Develop workforce to provide career and learning opportunities.
Create the strategy for hiring new team members with the experience to execute the mission.
Ensure subcontractors can augment skills and experience to execute on program.
Ensure subcontractors adhere to agreements on workshare and contractual elements.
Communicate the strategic direction of the program from execution to recompete.
Provide programmatic reporting to executive level leadership on this flagship program.
Drive integration across the company to leverage best practices and technology on program.
Align to the overall VTG strategy for execution and growth.
Ensure all contractual obligations are met with the IC customer.
Ensure execution is in support and the betterment of the mission.
Lead a team of managers who manage workforce teams.
