About The Position

Devereux is seeking a Program Manager to oversee their day program in Mays Landing, NJ. This role is part of the ASCEND career accelerator program, offering benefits like tuition coverage, student loan repayment, and career guidance. The Program Manager will work with dedicated professionals to help individuals in need, ensuring they are active, engaged, and productive. The position offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment and operates under Servant Leadership principles. The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Valid non-provisional driver's license.
  • Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
  • Empathetic and team-oriented approach to care.
  • Zero-tolerance policy for abuse and adherence to policies to reduce the risk of abuse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
  • Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the vocational program to ensure individuals are active, engaged, and productive.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor Direct Support Professionals and Employment Training Specialists.
  • Conduct interviews and hire vocational staff.
  • Manage performance, attendance, payroll accuracy, and training compliance for team members.
  • Ensure adequate shift coverage within the vocational program to maintain profitability.
  • Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs to meet individuals' social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
  • Plan community-based activities for individuals.
  • Schedule and transport individuals to community-based activities and job placements.
