About The Position

The Program Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques, as well as a clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques, and manufacturing procedures. The Program Manager will be the face of Valcor to our customers, developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex Programs
Demonstrated financial skills
Excellent communications techniques
A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required
Clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures
Must meet the US persons criteria

Nice To Haves

BSME (or equivalent engineering degree) preferred
Advanced degree (MBA or MS)
Related Aerospace experience

Responsibilities

Assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets (Financial Controls)
Assuring on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements (Schedule Controls)
Assuring timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements (Contractual Submittments)
Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers - Be the face of Valcor to our customer (Customer Relations)
