About The Position

Loftware is seeking a Principal Program Manager to oversee customer-facing, full life-cycle projects from PreSales handoff through implementation, configuration, and go-live. This role utilizes Project Management Professional methodologies to manage multiple system implementation projects concurrently, leveraging internal resources and proprietary applications. The core responsibility is to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, ensuring the functionality agreed upon in the Statement of Work (SOW) is met.

Requirements

  • 15 years of program management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • At least 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.
  • Experience in PM methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, PMBOK, etc.).
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience in activities and resource planning with enterprise software projects.
  • Flexibility and proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities.
  • Advanced competency with software programs to manage projects, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, Technical Design Specifications, and Functional Specifications in Validated and non-Validated environments.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for large system integrators is a plus.
  • Experience in or with supply chain companies is a plus.
  • Multi-Language fluency (written and verbal) preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery from Project Initiation to Technical Support handoff for multiple customer-facing major initiatives simultaneously.
  • Moderate understanding of systems architectural solutions to be implemented.
  • Prepare detailed project plan for multi-phase projects, including Planning, Specification Development, Installation, Configuration, UAT, Training, Go-Live and Functional/Architectural Documentation.
  • Ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Provide remote and on-site leadership for project teams, motivating members to achieve project goals and meet responsibilities and milestones.
  • Manage project scope, time, and changes according to the Statement of Work, including managing the Change-order process to minimize scope-creep.
  • Define and communicate success criteria to team members throughout the project life cycle.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, tests, and deployment management activities, providing at least weekly project reports, preferably automated via a Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Prepare configuration/design effort estimates to justify resource planning and allocation.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel with clear definitions.
  • Prioritize and manage solution quality issues and escalations with Product Management and Development departments.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Proactively research and communicate additional opportunities for expansion within the existing customer base (land and expand).
  • Instill a trustworthy and resourceful relationship between customers and Loftware.
