About The Position

For nearly 20 years, the UFW Foundation has mobilized farm workers and their organizations across the country to advocate for more equitable policies, such as immigration reform, pesticide protections, heat standards, hazard pay, and other worker protections. We engage constituents in systemic change to break the cycle of poverty while also providing critical services. In fact, the UFW Foundation is one of the largest federally accredited immigration legal service providers in the state of California. The organization has staff in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New York, and Washington state.

Requirements

  • High level of professionalism and organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Mixteco, Zapotec, Triqui and other languages indigenous to Mexico a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and oversee subcontractors.
  • Ensures implementation of policies and practices of programs.
  • Manages the data collection from staff and partners, as well as prepares data for program grant reports.
  • Coordinates internally with staff to assemble program and financial data for applications and reports.
  • Maintains accurate program records.
  • Manages data entered in database systems and coordinates quality control of data.
  • Communicates directly with staff and subgrantees who utilize the systems to ensure that they enter accurate and timely data.
  • Conducts office site and subgrantee visits.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with community-based organizations and other stakeholders.
  • Represents the organization at partner meetings, conferences, and other collaborations, particularly when related to health/public benefits issues.
  • Supports program development and growth.
  • Provides support with constituent calls, screenings and services, when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
