About The Position

The College of Arts & Sciences at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an experienced Sponsor Funded Professional - Program Manager to provide support to the Department of Computer Science. This position will support the DoD Center within the Department of Computer Science. The College of Arts and Sciences is home to more than 15,000 students, 550 faculty, and 300 staff members. This is a regular, full-time position that involves on-campus and online duties, with job continuation dependent upon grant funding.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and five years of related experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the daily financial and business operations.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders; monitor and respond to center-specific emails, student requests, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate and oversee social media activities, newsletter, and website updates.
  • Support communication with funding agencies; as well as assist with industry outreach and partnership establishments.
  • Collect and preserve data in the repository in support of center activities.
  • Maintain communication and reporting to the DoD.
  • Coordinate student internship recruitment and fairs.
  • Facilitate and coordinate faculty communications with students conducting research.
  • Collect and maintain specific data repository in support of the center’s participation in various programs, including annual reporting to the DoD.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for the DoD renewal process.
  • Collect student data for RISE students.
  • Prepare information and promotion material for programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee Social Media activities and newsletter.
  • Monitor and moderate Social Media presence.
  • Disseminate information through listserv; organize student-specific activities.
  • Support outreach and communications.
  • Help to establish partnerships with the private sector.
  • Support planning and organizing the annual symposium.
  • Facilitate communications with the advisory board.
