About The Position

Analytica is seeking a Program Manager – AI Risk Management & Standards to support the implementation of the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF) across its lifecycle. This role focuses on enabling consistent, efficient, and outcome-driven adoption of trustworthy AI practices through advanced analysis, coordination, and documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in technical program management, standards coordination, and analytical synthesis, with the ability to translate complex frameworks into actionable, reusable artifacts. This role emphasizes evaluation planning, operational risk integration, and standards alignment, while supporting Government-led decision-making through research, structured analysis, and clear presentation of tradeoffs and options. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred in Public Policy, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical or analytical programs
  • 3+ years of experience supporting: Standards development, Policy initiatives, Technical coordination programs
  • Experience working with Federal Government environments, preferably: NIST, Scientific, technical, or standards-focused organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF)
  • Experience with: AI/ML governance, risk, or assurance frameworks, Standards organizations or regulatory environments
  • Experience supporting evaluation planning or TEVV-related activities
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into structured documentation

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of the NIST AI RMF across the full lifecycle
  • Enable contextual understanding, evaluation planning, and operational risk integration
  • Develop evaluation-ready documentation supporting Testing, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV) (planning and synthesis, non-execution)
  • Conduct research on AI governance, risk management, and standards landscapes
  • Analyze and synthesize complex technical and policy inputs into actionable insights
  • Present findings, including: Impacts and risks, Tradeoffs, Alternative courses of action (without decision authority)
  • Analyze AI and non-AI standards frameworks relevant to governance and risk
  • Develop crosswalks between the NIST AI RMF and other frameworks
  • Support alignment across standards, evaluation, and risk management efforts
  • Develop reusable deliverables, including: Conceptual documents, Evaluation planning materials, Coordination analyses, Synthesis reports
  • Draft suggested language, redlines, and alternative options for Government consideration
  • Facilitate coordination across multi-stakeholder technical and policy efforts
  • Integrate Government-provided inputs into cohesive outputs
  • Promote traceability and reuse to minimize duplication across initiatives
  • Support execution of complex, multi-stakeholder technical programs
  • Deliver high-quality, consistent outputs aligned to mission objectives
  • Reinforce AI governance, evaluation readiness, and standards alignment
