About The Position
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance to be considered. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Cherokee Insights is seeking a Program Manager to manage and oversee the USSOCOM Joint Special Operations Forces Readiness Training Support (JSTRS) program.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI
- Minimum of ten (10) years of military experience
- Experience in communicating across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international locations, and driving results
- Certified in project management
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
- Expert written and oral communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing the execution of all requirements, controlling costs, and communicating with the Government
- Attend initial business and technical meetings
- Represent subcontractors in all circumstances
- Provide status on program activities to USSOCOM J37 Government personnel, as needed
- Ensure all deliverables are timely
- Resolve issues and/or conflicts
- Attend meetings related to the program as applicable
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
