About The Position

The Prep Academy Manager of Therapeutic Services is responsible for overseeing the services of the Group Specialist and Preschool Teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate, and trauma informed services. This role provides leadership, coaching and operational oversight to support staff in implementing therapeutic group programming, early childhood education practices, and individualized behavior interventions. The manager collaborates closely with clinical, educational, and administrative partners to maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes emotional regulation, social-emotional growth, and positive outcomes for clients. Responsibilities include supervising daily program operations, guiding staff performance and professional development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and child-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in Social Work/Counseling, preferred
Current Licensure in the State of Ohio (LSW or LPC) is preferred
Rendering Provider number required based on level of licensure.
National Provider Identification number required.
Previous experience working with school-age and/or pre-school children preferred

Hire, train, develop and supervise program staff. Ensure best practices for effective performance management and training are implemented and utilized in order to maximize productivity, develop talent, manage retention and meet program goals.
Is responsible for implementing and supporting a zero-restraint culture in Prep Academy
Provide training and guidance to employees on documentation, child development, customer service and new processes/program implementation as needed.
Provides day-to-day informal performance feedback and coaching to respective Group Specialists and Preschool Teachers.
Ensure curriculum implementation aligns with early childhood education standards, trauma-informed practices and program goals.
Oversee classroom scheduling, staffing coverage, and resource allocation to support smooth daily operations.
Monitor classroom performance, child performance, child progress, and behavioral supports to ensure consistent, individualized care for each child.
Perform other duties as assigned
