About The Position

The Program Manager, Strategic Operations in Technical Program Management sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, playing a key role in aligning stakeholders, optimizing resources, and ensuring programs deliver measurable value to the organization. This highly visible role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable programs, manage complex interdependencies, and deliver results aligned with company priorities. This is a full-time remote role with a preference for a candidate in Rochester, NY, with a base salary of $120,000-$159,000 and a 10% bonus.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
6+ years of program management experience, ideally in a strategic or cross-functional capacity.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex initiatives on time and within scope.
Strong understanding of strategic planning, operational efficiency, and change management.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in program management tools, such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.

Nice To Haves

Experience in management consulting or a corporate strategy role.
Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies.
Ability to influence and drive decision-making across senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end management of strategic initiatives, from concept through execution and measurement.
Collaborate with executive leadership to define program goals, KPIs, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Partner with teams across product, engineering, finance, operations, marketing, and HR to ensure alignment and progress.
Identify organizational change impacts and develop strategies to ensure smooth adoption and implementation.
Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep programs on track.
Deliver clear and timely updates to stakeholders and executive leadership, including status reports, dashboards, and business impact summaries.
Recommend improvements to program frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance effectiveness and scalability.
