North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is seeking a passionate Program Manager for its State Hospital Step Down Program. This program is designed to identify, assess, and facilitate the successful transitions of adults with serious mental illness (SMI), or a combination of SMI and medical needs, from hospital-based settings to community-based services with appropriate supports. The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the program, including training, supervision, deliverables, and admissions. This role involves direct supervision of Care Coordinators or the Intensive Transition Team (ITT) and ensures the delivery of services post-enrollment, including oversight of daily activities within the Transitional Home and community residences. The ITT collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure a person-centered transition process. The Program Manager also represents the ITT in court-related processes. Travel is required within the NTBHA catchment area (Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro & Rockwall Counties), potentially involving fleet or personal vehicle use for visits, meetings, and other business needs. This exempt position requires schedule flexibility to meet organizational needs.
