About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide senior-level oversight and leadership across a complex, multi faceted program supporting Department of Defense stakeholders. The Program Manager will ensure effective execution, strategic alignment, and operational excellence across all program activities, while providing guidance to technical teams, subcontractors, and client partners. This role requires strong leadership, proven program management capability, and the ability to manage dynamic, high visibility efforts with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years of program management experience supporting contracts of similar size and complexity.
  • Experience managing multifunctional teams in a DoW environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Strong understanding of the Government PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution) process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel).
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Washington DC
  • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance with SAP Eligibility to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior program management oversight for all activities and deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain an adequate and accurate cost accounting system.
  • Define, establish, and manage the program product baseline.
  • Implement and maintain a Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) program.
  • Manage relationships and performance of vendors and subcontractors.
  • Lead and oversee technical management teams operating at client sites.
  • Advise organizational leaders on workload distribution across teams and functions.
  • Recommend appropriate staffing levels, skill mix, and organizational structure.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operations and program performance.
  • Conduct cost benefit analyses and economic evaluations of programs.
  • Recommend opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Evaluate and refine organizational methods, business processes, and support procedures.
  • Research and assess new or emerging business and management practices.
  • Ensure high quality communication, reporting, and coordination across stakeholder.
