About The Position

Coordinate and oversee assigned contracts and services within Goodwills Shared Living Provider program. This role involves promoting the benefits of Shared Living services, recruiting high-quality sub-contractors, and ensuring they meet setting and training requirements. The Program Manager will actively participate in Individual Support Plan (ISP) development, monitor service delivery and documentation, and conduct monthly home visits. Immediate action is required to correct service gaps and documentation errors. The role also includes maintaining records using case management software, fulfilling Rights Committee and Advisory Committee responsibilities, and monitoring billing and budget performance to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Minimum of three years experience in the field of developmental disability service delivery
  • At least one year leadership or management experience
  • Valid drivers license issued in the State of Nebraska
  • Meet insurance requirements
  • Ability to communicate in spoken conversation, adequate volume speech, and have normal hearing for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
  • Ability to be independently mobile on all surfaces and situations; to move safely about the work area.
  • Visual acuity, depth perception and field of vision within normal range.
  • Physical stamina to work at least 8 hours per day and be able to travel to conferences, meetings, job seekers homes, etc.
  • Physical ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the benefits of Shared Living services with potential participants and all stakeholders.
  • Recruit high quality sub-contractors to meet the varied individual needs of current and future Shared Living participants.
  • Ensure sub-contractor setting requirements are met prior to and during placement.
  • Ensure sub-contractor training requirements are met prior to and during placement.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in Individual Support Plan (ISP) development.
  • Monitor the delivery and documentation of all contracted services, including habilitative teaching and support, medical support, and behavioral support.
  • Complete and document monthly home visits.
  • Take immediate action to correct service gaps and documentation errors.
  • Maintain records as required, demonstrating competency in the use of case management software.
  • Fulfill Rights Committee responsibilities.
  • Fulfill Advisory Committee responsibilities.
  • Monitor billing and budget plan performance and take action to meet requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Perform work activities in conformance to Goodwill Values Statement.
  • Immediately report any wrongdoing, unethical or improper conduct, fraud, fiscal mismanagement or misappropriation of funds, etc.
  • Encourage and do not hinder in any way an employee making a report pertaining to Goodwills Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure or making a report of work injury.
  • Ensure no employee is retaliated against in any way as a result of making a report related to Goodwills Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure or making a report of work injury.
