Massachusetts General Hospital has a long-standing tradition of providing case-based medical education through its "Case Records of the Massachusetts General Hospital" series, published in the New England Journal of Medicine. These Case Records, also known as NEJM clinicopathological Conferences (CPCs), are the oldest case-based teaching exercise in the country and remain a popular feature in the NEJM. The Project Manager Senior (PMS) will support the Editor and staff in the production and publication of these Case Records. This role involves maintaining documentation and deadlines, coordinating conference logistics, communicating with various stakeholders, compiling manuscripts, and performing administrative tasks throughout the production and publication process. Each case project typically takes 6-12 months from inception to publication, with approximately 50 projects active at any given time. The PMS will have the flexibility to work remotely, under the guidance of the Editor and day-to-day supervision of the Production Editor and Associate Editors. The role also includes collaborating with MGH web developers to maintain the Case Records website and undertaking special projects as assigned by the Editor.
