About The Position

This position is responsible for overseeing and leading the day-to-day operations at our Intensive Residential Treatment Facility. We are committed to providing person-centered and trauma-informed care to our residents. We are also committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position is responsible for providing support, development, and leadership to all program staff, and supervisors. This role will be familiar with managing external changes that impact service delivery, financial structure, integration, and expansion opportunities. The Program Manager serves on the organization's Clinical Operations Team with other leaders across Guild to advance the mission and vision of the agency.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Non-profit Management, or Social Work.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
  • Must not be actively receiving services from Guild Incorporated and must not have received services within the last two years.
  • Ability to pass a MN Department of Human Services background check.
  • A valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record and necessary insurance.
  • Knowledge of mental illness and the needs of people with mental illness.
  • Ability to develop and maintain receptive, open, and approachable lines of communication with clients and staff, and provide a friendly environment for visitors.
  • Demonstrated skill in participative management and supervision of staff.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including composing, proofreading, and editing.
  • Presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions and be open to new processes.
  • Ability to work as a proactive and positive member of a team to deliver quality services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of organization, personnel information, and client data.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and maintain healthy professional boundaries.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities.
  • Proficiency with a variety of web-based software and databases, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in the Behavioral Sciences.
  • A license as an independent mental health professional (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC).

Responsibilities

  • Understanding laws, rules, and policies pertaining to IRTS and Crisis programs.
  • Demonstrating skill in participative management and staff development.
  • Managing program-level budgeting, including oversight and accountability.
  • Promoting an inclusive, diverse, culturally knowledgeable, and respectful environment.
  • Utilizing well-developed organizational and time management skills to independently meet deadlines and prioritize competing activities.
  • Employing strong written and oral communication skills with clients, staff, community partners, and stakeholders, including creating documentation, facilitating meetings, and giving presentations.
  • Effectively engaging and motivating staff, facilitating change management, and developing and strengthening a culture of inclusion and support.
  • Leading the team in defining and setting program expectations, shared responsibilities, and assignment of work; providing leadership and direction to others.
  • Providing continuous assessments and input in the program's development to meet consumer and staff needs.
  • Using data and critical thinking skills to effectively solve problems, identify essential factors in situations, and creatively engage individuals in solutions.
  • Being flexible and responding quickly to rapidly changing conditions in the workplace and levels in service demand.
  • Exhibiting a sense of personal and professional empowerment to influence and create positive change.
