About The Position
We are looking for a proactive employee to oversee assigned personnel, properties, implementation of Individual Service Plans and management of the day-to-day operations of residential programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves monitoring service provision, managing program expenses, supervising staff, and maintaining records and reports.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a human services field, plus one years’ experience working with people with disabilities, required
- High school diploma/GED plus two years’ experience working with people with disabilities, required
- Basic computer skills, including word processing and e-mail skills are required
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience, preferred
- Knowledge of OPWDD services preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitoring the provision of services for participants, including developing and implementing different systems to implement and monitor current Habilitation plans
- Managing program expenses in keeping with budget guidelines
- Supervision of all assigned staff working in the residence
- Maintaining appropriate records and preparing necessary reports
