Florida A&M University's Office of the Chief Operating Officer is pleased to announce the acceptance of qualified applications for the Program Coordinator of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) vacancy. The Enterprise Risk Management Program Coordinator supports the University's strategic goals by coordinating the daily operations of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. This position plays a key role in identifying, assessing, and monitoring institutional risks, ensuring alignment with the University's mission, compliance obligations, and strategic priorities. The Program Coordinator works collaboratively with university departments to enhance risk awareness, strengthen internal controls, and promote a culture of informed decision-making. Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the ERM framework, policies, and procedures; Collaborate with departments and divisions to identify, assess, and prioritize institutional risks; Monitor risk mitigation activities and ensure compliance with established ERM standards and policies; Facilitate risk assessment workshops and training sessions for faculty and staff; Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior leadership and the Board of Trustees; and, research and apply best practices to advance the maturity of the ERM program. Conduct risk assessments to identify emerging and operational risks affecting university objectives; Analyze and interpret risk data to inform mitigation strategies and decision-making; Maintain and update the university's risk register to reflect current risk exposures; Partner with departments to develop, track, and report mitigation plans; Develop and deliver clear, data-informed risk reports and presentations; Communicate risk information across campus to build understanding and accountability; and, coordinate with internal communications to promote awareness of risk management initiatives. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and evaluation of ERM interns; Design structured learning experiences that align with student academic and career goals; Mentor interns, fostering their professional growth and technical skill development; Collaborate with academic departments and external partners to attract high-performing students; Stay abreast of trends and emerging issues in enterprise risk management; Participate in professional training, certifications, and conferences to enhance expertise; Share insights and lessons learned with colleagues to support continuous improvement; and, perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and objectives of the Office of Enterprise Risk Management.
