About The Position

As part of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Assessments Team, you’ll work with talented associates to provide oversight and guidance for our risk assessment programs and risk mitigation methodology that ensure our businesses effectively manage risk. This includes enabling our organizations to maintain a sustainable and holistic risk profile in order to deliver superior products while also protecting our customers. You’ll also bring your unique perspective and experiences to help us be rigorous, curious and creative. Enterprise Risk Management is the center of risk management for our company and covers all categories of risk, governing policies and standards, risk assessments, and issue and event management. The skills and experience obtained in this area are some of the most sought after in the market today. The Assessment Advisory team is focused on developing risk management strategies, processes and tools to ensure our company effectively manages the business objectives and satisfies the regulatory requirements. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, process professional who excels in a team environment. This individual will have experience in risk management, improving processes, identifying with the perspective of our customers, and be able to connect the regulatory environment to processes. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, process/project management capability, and results driven are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual should feel comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative information and can move from the “grey” area to grounded recommendation in an organized and transparent manner. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing project management and oversight for Divisional Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Program(s) execution to include - training, assessment monitoring, management reporting, etc. Facilitating assessment governance and methodology consultative services to 1st line LOB and 2nd line partners Leading ongoing governance and integration for the risk measurement programs including policy updates, issue management, change management, MBR and industry engagement management Performing Assessment reporting to key stakeholders, identifying trends, themes and ongoing monitoring of methodology results Supporting audits, exams, and assessments across Enterprise Risk Management

Requirements

  • Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
  • Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
  • Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in Process Management or Project Management
  • At least 2 year of experience in Risk Management

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Management, Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Process Management, Project Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 3+ years of experience in Risk Management
  • Risk Management certifications such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
  • Process Management Certification such as LEAN and Six Sigma or Compliance Certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), or Business Process Management Certification

Responsibilities
