About The Position

Eaton’s Energy Solutions & Services team is seeking a Program Manager – Product Development to support the rapid growth of our Data Center Power Distribution (DCPD) business. The role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Minimal travel is expected (~10%). Eaton’s Data Center Power Distribution (DCPD) business powers cloud and AI infrastructure through innovative, industry-leading power solutions. With a rapidly growing market, DCPD is investing in new products, technology, and expanded manufacturing capacity to drive the next generation of data centers. To support this growth, we're adding a Program Manager to our team. In this role, you'll lead complex new product development programs, collaborate across functions, and help bring innovative power solutions to market.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of experience in new Product Development Engineering
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Program Management

Nice To Haves

Bachelors or advanced degree in Engineering strongly preferred
Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent)
Product engineering or product design/development
MBA or master’s degree
Experienced in electrical industry
Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to electrical and mechanical engineering
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects
Experience with project scheduling and resource planning
Experience completing financial analysis
Knowledge of product development process
Excellent verbal/ written communications skills
Experience leading and collaborating across an organization to achieve goal
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to make data driven business decisions
Position requires an individual who is self-motivated, self-managed, team-oriented, proactive, attentive to detail, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements

Responsibilities

Successfully execute and manage large product development projects across multiple offices and time zones.
Create comprehensive business plans for product development projects.
Drive continuous improvement and lean culture to achieve successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with functional organizations to develop and track project schedules, budgets, and resource plans necessary for project completion.
Work with functional teams, program managers, and the executive team to enhance the maturity of program management processes, tools and systems, optimizing productivity to drive growth.
Address ambiguous challenges by applying expertise in project management, change management, and communications.
