About The Position

As Program Manager, you will lead the growth of Staples’ B2C and B2B payment portfolios, overseeing product and program management, salesforce engagement, marketing execution, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support day-to-day operations. You will communicate and champion the vision for Staples’ consumer and business payment programs, recommend program and product improvements supported by business cases and customer insights, and partner with internal teams to develop and execute program roadmaps and enhancements. You will communicate program goals and performance targets focused on customer acquisition and revenue growth, act as a subject matter expert for payment programs and initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure programs receive the right focus and visibility. Additionally, you will develop and execute salesforce engagement initiatives, including SPIFFs, contests, and incentives, create and maintain sales and training materials for internal teams, monitor and report on program KPIs and performance metrics, analyze results and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance, and monitor and share competitive trends across the Canadian consumer and business payments market.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product or program management
  • Post secondary education, preferably in business administration or a relevant discipline/field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of cards landscape & payments eco-systems
  • Demonstrated and focused desire to build and grow lines of businesses
  • Experience launching customer facing products; solid knowledge of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships with internal/external groups
  • Self-motivated and results focused; able to work independently and proven track record of success
  • Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
