About The Position

This position assists the VP in the development and implementation of all program activities related to the division’s annual roadmap/work plan. The role involves working with others on program goals, milestones, metrics, and deliverables to support the division’s initiatives. The Program Manager will also manage the planning and scheduling of meetings, including follow-up action items, and collaborate with operational leaders, IT, Project Managers, and operational teams to plan, implement, and optimize systems supporting programming. Additionally, the role requires working with internal and external Epic and Health Informatics teams to understand workflow impacts and develop requirements for optimization, as well as preparing and presenting program performance updates to governing bodies and leadership. The role also includes conducting research on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in developing and implementing program activities.
  • Ability to work with others on program goals, milestones, metrics, and deliverables.
  • Experience in preparing weekly/monthly reports on project plans and adherence to deliverables.
  • Skills in managing the planning and scheduling of meetings and follow-up action items.
  • Experience managing work with operational leaders, IT, Project Managers, and operational teams.
  • Knowledge of planning, implementing, and optimizing systems that support programming.
  • Experience working with internal and external technical teams (e.g., Epic, Health Informatics) to understand workflow impacts and develop requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and present updates on program performance and risks.
  • Research skills for industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Works with others on program goals, milestones, metrics and deliverables to support the division’s initiatives.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on project plans and adherence to deliverables.
  • Manages the planning and scheduling of meetings including managing follow up action items.
  • Manages work with operational leaders, IT, Project Managers and operational teams to plan, implement, and optimize systems that support programming.
  • Works with internal Epic and Health Informatics teams as well as external Epic technical specialists to understand potential workflow impacts on program and develops requirements for change that maybe required to optimize programming.
  • Works with VP to prepare and present periodic updates on program performance, risks, etc. to governing bodies and leadership teams.
  • Conducts research on industry trends and benchmarks best practices.
