Requirements

  • Must be able to read and speak English.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other personnel.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Basic computer aptitude preferred.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
  • Occasional periods of walking, sitting, rotation, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs, and frequently lifting up to 10 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
  • Technical training in aviation field.
  • Education to meet licenses required 5-7 years in aircraft interiors preferred.
  • Some supervisory experience required.
  • A & P License desired

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Managers to ensure compliance.
  • Manage all assigned Program Workflow for the team.
  • Problem-solve and coordinate with all departments as affected (AVX, Paint, Interior, Sales, Quoting, and QA).
  • Manage Tooling/test equipment and associated upkeep, control and calibration.
  • Establishing, reviewing, and communicating hiring needs and selections.
  • Administer employee performance reviews and disciplinary measures as required.
  • Directly responsible for assigned program P&L performance and reporting.
  • Completion of work order squawks and informing billing manager.
  • Ensuring completion of internal and external training requirements.
  • Preparation and resolution from internal and external audits.
  • Aircraft delivery.
  • Adhere to the current and future company policies, safety guidelines, aviation procedures, and work in a professional manner.
  • This position has overall department management responsibility. The position involves indirect supervisory responsibilities.
