About The Position

Stord is seeking a high-ownership, high-performing Program Manager to own cross-functional programs across their internal tooling, IT and security systems, and vendor landscape. This role involves translating cross-functional requirements into clear project plans, providing timely stakeholder updates, and ensuring successful and on-time project delivery with tight alignment across teams. The work will directly support the efficiency and efficacy of the entire company during a period of rapid scaling. The ideal candidate is comfortable with program reviews and building automation to improve processes. This is a high-ownership role with significant impact from day one, reporting into the Internal Systems team and partnering with every function at Stord.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in program management or a closely related field at a fast-growing technology company.
  • A track record of running cross-functional programs end to end, with the organization and follow-through to keep many threads on schedule.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating integrations across a modern software stack.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and renewal cycles.
  • An automation-first instinct – experience using scripts, no-code/low-code tools, or AI to eliminate manual work.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity and communicate with clarity and precision.
  • Obsessive attention to detail with a high bar for execution, follow-through, and the quality of your own work product.

Responsibilities

  • Run the programs that keep Stord's systems healthy, owning planning, execution, and reporting for cross-functional Internal Systems initiatives.
  • Create structure and accountability across teams by translating high-level integration goals into detailed project roadmaps, charters, RACIs, and workflows.
  • Prioritize automation by identifying manual, repetitive internal work and replacing it with automation, workflows, and AI agents.
  • Maintain the operating rhythm by running recurring reviews, dashboards, and status communications for leadership.
  • Support the compliance evidence process and cadence by partnering with Security and Finance to keep SOC controls, evidence collection, and audit calendar on track.
  • Build the Internal Systems playbook by bringing structure and follow-through to the function and setting standards, playbooks, and documentation.
  • Manage cross-functional execution by partnering with business leaders to align on priorities, remove roadblocks, and drive execution.
  • Ensure executive and stakeholder visibility through crisp project documentation and dashboards, and by informing all stakeholders, including senior leadership, on progress and escalations.
